2012 NSU Fundraiser

 

 

Thanks to strong support from the Needham community, we raised almost $15,000, enough to bring four new students into the Steps to Success program for the duration of their high school careers.  Keynote speaker Marty Martinez, CEO of Mass Mentoring Partnership, delivered inspiring words about the power of mentoring.  We presented the first annual Stepping Up for Education Award to Sue Bonaiuto, former Director of Planning and Community Education for the Needham Public Schools.  And a mentee read aloud a letter of appreciation she had written to her mentor, giving guests a peek inside a successful mentoring relationship.
